During business hours, call the Animal Control Officer at (210) 342-2341 x206. If space is available, the Animal Control officer will make same-day arrangements to pick up the pet and process it into the animal shelter. If no space is available, the animal control officer will direct you to other agencies that may be able to assist you with pet intake. Contact Dispatch at (210) 342-2341 to report the injured or deceased animal. Be sure to give the street and cross street of the location, with a description of the type of animal, and any other information you may have. Dispatch will contact the Police Department to follow up on the call.

Castle Hills Animal Control does not trap nuisance animals on private property. Contact a pest control company for assistance with nuisance animals (raccoon, skunk, possum, or feral cats).

Castle Hills Animal Control does not trap nuisance animals on private property (raccoon, skunk, possum, or feral cats). You can use a humane live animal trap to safely trap the nuisance animal. Once you have trapped the animal, Animal Control will pick up the trap and release the animal in another location. 6. Can I Bring Kittens To Animal Control?

7. Can I Surrender My Own Pet To Animal Control?

8. Who Do I Call If My Pet Is Missing?

If your pet is missing you can leave a message for Animal Control at (210) 342-2341. Please be specific when leaving details about your missing pet. Animal Control will need to know what type of pet, the hair color, the size, distinguishing marks, where was pet last seen, your name, address, and phone number, does the pet have a collar and tags, or a microchip, and any other important details. 9. Who Do I Call If I See A Dog At Large?

If you see a pet running loose in the street, contact Dispatch at (210) 342-2341. Provide them with a detailed description of the pet, as well as the street, cross streets, and time of day. Dispatch will contact the animal control officer. In some situations the pet may run off before the animal control officer arrives. Be aware that there is only one animal control officer who has other duties. He will make every effort to find the pet, but in some circumstances, may not be able to assist the animal.
