Juvenile Rules

Juvenile defendants are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian and appear in open court before the Judge. You must appear on the assigned date that appears on your citations or summons.

Current Address & Residency

A child and parent who are required to appear before the Court have an obligation to provide the Court in writing with the current address and residence of the child. The obligation does not end when the child turns 17. On or before the 7th day after the date the child or parent changes residence, the child or parent shall notify the court of the current address in writing. This obligation terminates upon the final disposition of the offense. A violation of this requirement may result in arrest and is a Class C Misdemeanor.
